Delivery Issues Policy
Roast 2 Order Coffee and Tea (Roast2Order) upholds the highest standards for customer service and satisfaction. It’s one thing that sets us apart from our competitors. We strive for 100% customer satisfaction (see our 5-star reviews as proof). We are not responsible for lost, misdelivered, misrouted or simply missing/stolen packages but we will help you as much as we possibly can to locate and resolve your issue. You can always reach out and call us at 630-364-1610; we are happy to hear from you, even at the worst of times. We want to help you enjoy your best life.
Please note: When your order is shipped, you will receive an email with the subject: Roast2Order Coffee & Tea shipping confirmation for order from Roast2Order Coffee & Tea [email protected]
In light of this, the Roast2Order Delivery Dispute Policies are:
- Roast2Order will take every means possible to help you and attempt to make you 100% satisfied.
- Roast2Order is NOT responsible for porch piracy or items stolen from mailboxes. If the carrier indicates a package was “delivered,” then neither the carrier nor Roast2Order is responsible for its whereabouts thereafter. After delivery, it is impossible for Roast2Order (or the shippers) to watch over and keep your package secure inside your mailbox or on your front porch – we’d have to hire an army of guards or have a fleet of drones monitoring – you’d pay a fortune for that kind of service!
- If you’re uncertain about the security of your deliveries, take measures to secure them. Consider alternative delivery locations, explore security cameras and remote-controlled openers for entrance and garage doors. Purchase or build a locked parcel receptacle that can easily be attached to buildings or anchored. Ask neighbors to be on the lookout for deliveries, use 3rd-party retail delivery locations with UPS or FedEx, have packages redirected to another address, use the available carrier tracking tools to monitor movement and delivery, and acquire a PO or Private Mail Box (PMB). Consult Google for more alternative solutions.
- Customers must report lost/missing or stolen packages to us ideally within 24-48 hours of tracking of notated carrier delivery for us to get involved in any package delivery disputes.
- Customers MUST file their own claims for lost, missing, damaged, or stolen packages with carriers and provide us with claim numbers within 48 hours of the delivery date for us to be involved in disputes or settlements.
- Upon request, customers need to call us at 630-364-1610 to speak in person regarding details so we can clarify details rather than going back and forth in email or SMS. There are so many hoaxes and so much fraud these days portrayed though email and text, customers who refuse to call us and talk in person are assumed to be a part of the hoax/fraud crowd and their cases are not taken as legitimate. Sorry, we just don’t have time to go back and forth in email or SMS.
- Your call to Roast2Order, while preferred, is by no means a guarantee that we will assume any responsibility – any and all resolutions coming from us will be made at the discretion of Roast2Order.com
- All follow up communications and offers to help will be documented via email which you will need to reply to affirm for us to move forward.
- Those who abuse the system, attempt a hoax or fraud, may be banned from ordering again. All comments left on our site or media pages will be considered recorded documentation for the incident – what was said and when, and can be used at our discretion including social media or any negative reviews given.
- It is our goal that every customer be fully satisfied with whatever bad situation occurred. However, satisfaction is not guaranteed, we expect that all customers will handle things in a civil, respectful and decent manner, will understand fully that Roast2Order cannot control all variables outside of our jurisdiction. We will be fair, but we expect to be treated fairly using the golden rule as the principle.
Here are a few tips for package delivery issues. Key Tips for Missing Deliveries:
- Look for your tracking information. You should have received an email from Roast 2 Order Coffee & Tea <noreply.shippingeasy.com> with a tracking number. Sometimes this goes to spam. We highly recommend you add domains: @shippingeasy.com, @roast2order.shop, and @roast2order.com to your email whitelist to ensure emails from these go to your inbox and not spam folder. Search for how to add domains to a whitelist for your specific email service.
- Wait 24 Hours: While all packages we ship have a Bar/QR code and are scanned multiple times while they are handled by the package delivery service, it’s usually done quickly by a human, so errors do occur. Sometimes, drivers mark packages delivered early or scan them incorrectly, usually inadvertently. Every package returned to a terminal in the evening is rescanned upon arrival. If you wait 24 hours, their systems usually correct themselves automatically. However, it is still a good idea to bring this matter to our attention as soon as you see it. Oftentimes, we see it and are already aware of it. Please feel free to contact us at 630-364-1610.
- If a package is marked as delivered but you have not received it, you should first contact the customer service department of the carrier delivering the package. Feel free to contact us later, but ideally after you have addressed it with the carrier, as stated above, wait about 24-48 hours. For example, Amazon (read their policy here) advises waiting up to 48 hours for potential carrier errors, acting within 1–2 days increases the chances of retrieving misdelivered items or starting a claim promptly. NOTE: Waiting too long can cause issues or result in claims being refused!

- Check Carrier Details: Contact the carrier (UPS – click here for UPS customer support, USPS – click here for USPS customer support) immediately to ask about the GPS scan location.
- Check Your Property: Look behind bushes, around obstacles, and in hidden spots, or ask neighbors if they received it by mistake in their deliveries. Look in hidden spots around the entrances to your address, including garage doors. Also, look for evidence of animal confiscation packages – usually remnants of packaging or products themselves.
- File a claim! Before we can discuss a resolution, you MUST file a claim with the carrier (UPS, USPS). We cannot help you otherwise!
Finally, if you are at a loss for what to do, still have questions, or need help getting started, feel free to call us at 630-364-1610!!! We likely still need you to act further, but nothing beats an in-person live phone call with a real person to quickly and effectively eliminate confusion and misinformation and help remedy situations. You’ll be glad you did! Unlike most 4-legged package thieves, we don’t bite!”
